Huangguoshu Waterfall

The beautiful Huangguoshu landscape derives the name from the impressive and massive waterfalls, which are located 45 km southwesterly of the town of Anshun in the Province of Guizhou.  The area displays a classical mattock (karst) highland. Along the river and the sunken river bed resembles a gigantic tail, cascading over 9 natural steps of 18 smaller and very different waterfalls. Of all the 18 waterfalls, the Huangguoshu is the largest. The falling water pours down a cliff into the Xiniu-Tan Pool. As the sunlight reflects on the waterfall it creates the impression of an enormous natural curtain and is also diffracted through the drops of water, producing glorious rainbows. There is a natural cave behind the waterfall, 131 feet above the Xiniu-Tan Pool. Standing inside and watching the water pouring down is an unforgettable sight. Around the Huangguoshu are 18 smaller falls and 30 karst caves, which are the background of countless wonderful stories. This area offers beautiful points of interests, delightful landscapes, freshly air and is perfectly suited for hiking and recreation.

Dragon Palace Cave

The Dragon Palace Cave is located 27 km southwesterly from the city of Anshun and about 30 km from the Huangguoshu waterfall. The cave is considered the second attraction in Guiyang. It is a beautiful region with dripstone caves, underground rivers and waterfalls.

Unlike any other dripstone cave in china is the Dragon Palace Cave indeed a group of five water draining cave systems, linked by a 3 kilometer long subterranean river. Meanwhile one km of the cave can be visited by tourists while they float by boat through the stunning beautiful cave with ever changing karst sculptures, stalactites, rock formations and stone pillars. The lowest part of the cave is 2 meters the tallest roof about 80 meters

On the other side of the cave lies a lake whose name is “Heavens-Lake”.
