Grand Canal

The Grand Canal (Da Yunhe) proper cuts to the west and south of Suzhou, within a 10km range of the town. Hop off the bus once you find yourself a nice bridge on which you can perch and watch the world of the canal float by. Peaking yourself for too long could make you the main tourist attraction.
