Lion Grove

Just around the corner from the Zhuozheng Yuan, this I hectare grove was constructed in 1350 by the monk Tian Ru and other disciples as a memorial to their master, Zhi Zheng. The garden has rockeries that evoke the forms of lions. The walls of the labyrinth of tunnels bear calligraphy from famous chisels.
