Today you will visit the Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.

Forbidden City also known as the Imperial Palace, the National Palace Museum, the Purple Forbidden City and Gugong, is probably Beijing’s top tourist attraction.  This huge palace complex (one full square kilometer), previously home to 23 successive Emperors, is located in the heart of Beijing, on the north side of Tiananmen Square.

Tian'anmen Square, it is the heart of the city, 500 m wide and 880 m long. It is not only the man-made largest square in the world but also symbol of the new China's revolutionary movement.

The Summer Palace in northwest suburban Beijing is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China. It was first built in the 12th century as an imperial palace. Renovation and extension in the following several hundred years till the end of the 19th century led it into the scale we see today, and was officially named Summer Palace.

Today you will visit the Great Wall,Sacred Way and Ming Tomb.
Great Wall, the true "long wall" called in Chin, looked as the representative of China. About 6,000 km this stone dragon winds its way over mountain peaks to the rand of the desert in the west side of the Gansu Province.

Ming Tomb: There are thirteen imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty scattered over an area of forty square kilometers in Changping District to the northwest of Beijing. Construction of the necropolis spanned more than two hundred years, almost throughout the entire Ming Dynasty: The first tomb was built in 1409, and the last one in 1644.

Sacred Way: In the front part of the imperial necropolises, there usually is a Sacred Way (or Divine Road) which means the road leading to heaven. The Emperor, known as the Son of the Heaven, who came from Heaven to his country through the Sacred Way, also deservedly would return to Heaven through this road. The road is often lined with stone statues which are important decorations of the mausoleum.
