(B.L) Museum of Terracotta Army is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum, Lintong County, Shaanxi Province. It has more than 2000 years history and be called “the Eighth Wonder of the World”. City Wall is 13.7 km long, located in the central of Xi'an, and it is the best preserved city wall in China. It was appraised as the important protection unit of cultural relic of China. 03. Day Xi'an. (B.L) Big Wild Goose Pagoda situated in the Da Ci’en Temple, about four kilometers from the urban center, is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. It was sponsored and named by the famous master Xuan Zang (Monk Tripitaka) in 652 A.D. Shaanxi History Museum is a newly built modern building which recreates Tang-dynasty architecture and successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture. It covers 65,000 square meters, with a building area of 60,000 square meters. Housing over 300,000 items (murals, paintings, pottery, coins; bronze, gold, and silver objects). 04. Day Xi'an. (B) Mt. Huashan situated in Huayin City, 120 kilometers (about 75 miles) east from Xi'an City of Shaanxi Province, is known as 'The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven'. It is one of the five sacred mountains in China and is famous for its natural vistas of steep and narrow paths, precipitous crags, and a high mountain range. Mt. Huashan is home to several influential Taoist temples where emperors of past dynasties made pilgrimages, making Mt. Huashan the holy land of Taoism. 05. Day Xi'an. (B) The Great Mosque in Xian is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China and its location is northwest of the Drum Tower (Gu Lou) on Huajue Lane. According to historical records engraved on a stone tablet inside, this mosque was built in 742 during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is really well worth a trip to see the Great Mosque, not only for its centuries-old history but also for its particular design of mixed architecture - traditional Muslim and Chinese styles.
