In the morning arrive in Liuyuan (railway station of Dunhuang). Transferred to the hotel. Visit the Crescent Moon Lake, the White Pagoda and the Singing Sand Dune, where the oasis with the desert meets together. The 200 m long Crescent Moon Lake's name is coming from its shape.

Visit the Mogao Grotto (UNESCO) and other sightseeing point. 25 km southeast from Dunhuang is the Mogao Grotto, which is the best-kept Buddhist art construction in Dunhuang. The caves are the concentration of the Buddhist art and reflect the political and economic life at that time. Then fly to xi'an.

Today you will visit the Terracotta Army (UNESCO) of the first Chinese Emperor which was over 2000 years old. In the afternoon you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda - the symbol of xi'an, is a famous construction of the Tang Dynasty, considered as the most famous Buddhist Pagoda of China with a height 64m. |
