Arrive in Shanghai, a modern city and a trade center with 16 Million inhabitants. Be greeted by the local guide and transferred to hotel. Walking at Bund to take a view of the construction buildings in colony at the Huangpu-river bank. Then go to the famous shopping street, the Nanjing Road.

You will visit the Old City, the Yu Garden and the Jade-Buddha Temple. At night watch the Shanghai Acrobatic Show.

In the morning it is free for you! In the afternoon fly to Chengdu, the capital city of the Province Sichuan.

Fly to Lhasa. The sunny city on the roof of the world. The city has 300.000 inhabitants and lies in about 3700 m High. After arrival you will be greeted by the local guide and transfer to hotel. The rest time is for you to accustom to this altitude.
2 Nights in Lhasa. *** Hotel

You will visit the Jokhang-Temple and the Barkhor, a free market. In the afternoon continue to visit the Drepung Temple.

Today you will drive past the 5010 m high Karola, visiting Yamdrok Lake on the way, go to the third largest town in Tibet - Gyantse, there you will visit the Pelkhor Chöde Monastery.

Gyantse - Shigatse. (B.L.D)

Jeep travel to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet. Here you visit the large Tashilhunpo Monastery, the traditional seat of Pant Lama. Afterwards you stroll over an open market.

Take bus through the Brahmaputra River with wonderful scenery to Lhasa.
2 Nights in Lhasa. **** Hotel

You visit the Potala (UNESCO), the Winter Palace of Dalai Lama, the Temple Kloster Sera and the Summer Palace of Dalai Lama, the Norbulinkha.

In the morning fly to Chengdu. In the afternoon take bus to Chongqing. At night go on the ship travel.
3 Nights on the ship

Visit the Three Gorges dam in the morning. Then pass the ship lock and continue on the cruise. Sail on through the Xiling Gorge. The captain hosts a welcome dinner on board at first night. You will take the shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Little Three Gorges. Continue this afternoon through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge and see the fabled Twelve Peaks and take shore excursion to Fengdu, the “Ghost City” or Shibaozhai.

In the morning embark on Yichang. Bus travel to Wuhan. Fly to Xi'an.
