In the morning fly to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. The city has 2 million inhabitants, lies in a height of 3000 m. In a year the temperature is about 24°C, because of this, man called Kunming also as “the City of Spring”. Yunnan Province has many ethnic groups. Over 20 different groups with different cultures, languages and traditions form the picture of this province. Visiting the QiongzhuTemple, the bird and flower market and the Yuantong Temple.

Stone
Forest

Today you will visit the Stone Forest, about 86 km far away from the city Kunming. The nature land scenery is looked as the world wonder. Take bus from Kunming to Dali (about 390 km). Dali is the capital in 8th. Century of the powerful imperial Nan-Zhao. The city lies in wonderful land scenery between 4000 m high Mt. Cangshan and the Erhai Lake. After arrival you will visit the Three Pagodas.

In the morning take bus to Lijiang (about.210 Km). The way from Dali to Lijiang leads through the wonderful scenery, rice terraces and mountain. Lijiang is the site of the autonomous Naxi government. After arrival you can make a city tour in the old city - Lijiang (UNESCO-world culture heritage). |
